Day one

0830am Pickup from Muscat hotel and proceed  on a journey to Sur, the Old African port where dhows are made by hands. The Coastal road to Sur is beautiful with a lot of sightseeing options enroute.

Your first stop " Wadi Dayqah Dam" 19 kms inland later continue off road for 25 kms on route, you will see a few "Mushroom rocks" a naturally occurring rock format on whose shape, resembles a mushroom. On reaching " Wadi Al Arbiyeen" where you will find a pool of crystal clear intense turquoise blue waters, which are cool and inviting for a swim.

From here, we rejoin the Coastal road with a photo stop at Bimmah Sinkhole which is a geological formation of the karts topography and a scenic wonder. Then continue to Finns beach for a short walk on the beach. You will then head towards Wadi Tiwi, another spectacularly deep and narrow  gorge carved out of the mountains, running between towering cliffs right down to the sea.

Thereafter, proceed to Sur hotel and check in. Optional visit at about 1900 hrs drive to Ras Al jinz  famous turtle beach to watch Turtles and their nesting habits. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day two

0830am After breakfast you leave from the hotel and visit the dhow yard, where dhows are traditionally made by bare hands.

Next stop Wadi Bani Khalid the magnificent Wadi to spend a leisurely day. The pools are cool, deep and absolutely stunning, surrounded  by Palm  trees and vast, orangey -red rocky outcrops and the silky water perfect for a long swim.

Thereafter, drive to the undulating golden sands, the great Wahiba Sands are longitudinal dunes 200 km long and 100 km wide running south fromthe eastern Hajar mountains to the Arabian sea. This is a traditional home for the Bedouin, hardy spirited people who know how to survive in these harsh desert conditions. A visit to a Bedouins settlement.

From here, drive further inside the magnificent  desert and check in to your camp, experience  an amazing sunset over the  top high dunes.

Day  three

0830am After breakfast we head out for full day heritage tour. First we visit Nizwa Souq, built in traditional style, you will find exquisite silver jewellery, intricately handmade "khanjar" means daggers, copper and other handicrafts.

We than visit Jabreen castle, built in the 17th century and originally designed as a residence,it's one of the most beautiful of Oman with it's painter ceiling, dungeons and hidden passages.

After a short drive we reach Bahla known for its rich tradition of pottery and weaving. You visit Bahla fort (photo stop), one of the oldest in Oman listed in the UNESCO world heritage for its cultural antiquity.

Thereafter you proceed to the Grand canyon check in to mountain resort for overnight.

Day four

0830am After breakfast, 3 hours soft trekking at the canyon balcony walk W6 route. Next you visit Misfat Al Abriyeen a picturesque village strapped on to the side of a mountain. As you walk around this beautiful village where time has come to a standstill, you will be moved by the simplicity and friendliness of the people. Shaded by lemon trees, little streets wind upwards to the different level of houses, like caves carved out of the rock, with spiral staircases leading to the terraces. Drive through the Old Al Hamra with a short walk in the Old houses, believed to be the oldest village in Oman.

Return to Muscat late afternoon and drop off at your hotel/airport.
